The DPX-IQ combines the excellent precision and clinical utility of DPX® bone densitometers with high-resolution imaging. The DPX-IQ provides the speed of entry level fan-beam densitometers with better image quality.
It employs a reliable pencil beam to achieve the excellent precision and low radiation dose needed for the clinical environment. The DPX-IQ produces high-resolution imaging with a radiation dose 10 to 20 X lower than fan-beam densitometers. The DPX-IQ comes with LUNAR's highly automated, sophisticated software for AP spine, femur, total body and tissue quantization. A wide selection of optional applications is available at an affordable price.

The DPX-IQ requires a minimum of valuable room space. It is available in either a full (240-cm) or compact (l80-cm) length. Only the scanner arm moves--not the table. This mechanical simplicity ensures years of reliable results and dependable, quiet service. The DPX-IQ features a Pentium™ processor and operates under the windows® 95 environment. Appropriate reference populations are included for patient comparison. Adjustments can be made for the patient's age, weight, and ethnic group. The User's Manual is provided on CD-ROM with a keyword search capability for fast on-line help. Microsoft® Windows 95™ and Works for windows™ are bundled with DPX-IQ software.
